People complaining in mmo's.
I see/hear this a lot and wanted to talk about it. I really am starting to get annoyed when people complain about updates mmo's make, like they are never truly happy and it's depressing. And this probably isn't just with mmos but other games themselves. They're literally always complaining about how bad the game and it's updates and patches are and seriously, people like this don't need to exist anymore. I'll give you some examples, let's start off with Tera.
They've recently implemented a new store mount in the game. Here's a pic:
New tera cars. I personally think they're cute from my own opinion but tiny things like store mounts like this do not and I repeat do not mean the game is going bankrupt/bad. Honestly, people really need to stop complaining so much and look at the brighter sides of things. The so-called players on Tera are really trying to convince us that polygons that the devs put in Tera like this is the reason why Tera is losing players, the reasons why Tera is going bad or so they claim but that's defintely not the reason.
I agree, cars don't necessarily belong in a fantasy mmporg (they need to be a little more original and creative) but that doesn't mean they need to rage about it. Also, complaining about it isn't going to help the game get any better or even the producers of the game give time worth reading your rude comments. I'm saying you need a better approach, like constructive criticism, not being plain out disrespectful.
Certain people making comments about these things are just being obnoxious for no reason. They keep forgetting, this is an optional feature. Mounts of any kind are most likely not the worst thing to happen to Tera. You're being over dramatic and a cry baby. Not to mention, you're making a big deal out of nothing. If you're really moving on from the game because of one mount you didn't like, maybe you don't need to play anything that has change to it, am I right?
Seriously? They're on crack for putting another mount in game. By the way, I screenshotted some of the comments from the Tera page (obviously) because I didn't feel like commenting on every one of the comments so people can find some reason to tell me to stop commenting/spamming every single comment I don't agree with.
Good. If you're getting that sensitive over the game, people like you don't deserve to play.
You sure? Over one mount that you don't happen to like? Don't you think you're being ridiculous.
I'd agree with every thing you said until you called out/insulted the people who actually bought this mount. Btw (just realize this) people who do have these mounts don't always buy it from the actual store, they could've brought it from the AH. Unless you're still trying to say people who buy it period are idiots, then you're still wrong. You're blaming people for buying it when Tera was the one who put it in game for people to buy? Duh. Don't call me an idiot for buying a mount I like; it may have not been worth it to you but worth it to others. Now you're just being an asshole to people you don't even know. The only idiot here is you.
Half, the other comments really weren't worth it.
I'll also mention other example from World of Warcraft, the patch before patch 6.2 where selfie cams and twitter integration was introduced in the game. People really tried to tell us that selfie cams and hooking your account up to twitter was the reason WoW was going (bad) or losing subs. I doubt it, I'm pretty sure it's more to that because to be honest, almost anything optional doesn't mean the game is going bad.
And even non video/computer games, even like websites where they make changes to their sites, etc, whatever, people still are never happy. Please stop being emo and get a grip.
