For me (will be constantly updated)
I'm really into cc on sims 3. All the cc listed is for and from the Sims 3. When I can afford the Sims 4, then I'll make a cc list for that. I can't play without it to be honest because I hate the clothes you start off with when you play the sims 3. So I've been spending part of the day downloading cc from the web. If you don't know what cc is, it's custom content.
I do think I've haven't downloaded a lot of it right. At least the extracting part; downloading cc from tsr is incredibly easy if it doesn't need to be unzipped. :(
I remember having trouble unzipping stuff to the right folders to get them to show up in game. Downloading sims and houses are easy but pose packs and master controller was tricky.
Master Controller is great btw and I totally need it and would recommend it to everyone. I recommend reading the descriptions on some of the links before downloading so you know what you're downloading. Sims Creators I really enjoy are Andromedasims, Modish Kitten, Anubis Under The Sun, My Sims 3 Blog, Pixicat, Mod The Sims, Ma$ims3, Around The Sims, Plumblobs,
